Please follow the care guidelines below.
Before Applying the Magnet
1. Clean your vehicle's surface with mild soap and water, then dry completely before applying the magnet.
2. Apply the magnet to flat, smooth steel surfaces. Magnets will not adhere to aluminum, plastic, or heavily curved areas. Not everything that looks like steel on your car actually is!
3. It seems obvious, but please do not apply the magnet to rust, chipped paint, existing damage, or other decals. For best adhesion, apply magnet in warm/non-freezing temperatures.
Ongoing Care
1. Remove the magnet and clean both the magnet and vehicle surface periodically. We recommend doing so monthly and/or seasonally, depending on the weather in your area, to keep your magnet and your car shiny. Always re-apply to a clean, dry surface.
2. Make sure you flip your magnet upside down every once in a while to freak out your neighbors.
3. Don’t take your magnet through an automatic car wash-- the high-pressure brushes might knock it off!
Miscellaneous
Store magnets flat when not in use and keep them in a cool, dry place. You can stick them on cars, refrigerators, filing cabinets, washing machines, backyard rocket ships, other people’s cars, other people’s refrigerators, etc. Life is short, so we hope you use your imagination. Proper care isn’t hard, but it is the responsibility of the customer.
